This plant is a pure Indica, the result of an endogamic cross made between 2 sister plants of the same genetic line. They were selected outdoors, in high humidity and low light conditions, over several years, focusing on fast flowering and high production. They demonstrated that they were more suitable than the rest, due to their good mould resistance.

The followers of Critical+ are especially satisfied with its rapid growth, but they are also very pleased with the heavy harvests and intense flavour. Many have stated that after various years of use they are beginning to get bored with its flavour and even more so with its effect, which loses its intensity. Pollinating it with JYD Haze, which has an 84 day flowering period, we have tried to increase the psychoactive level as much as possible without excessively increasing the flowering period, trying at the same time to obtain a better resistance to high levels of moisture in order to assure a successful harvest. Critical+ is obviously the dominant part in the crossbreed, which matures slightly later but in exchange has greatly improved its flavour and effect.

Selected by a great grower from Bilbao to whom we owe this little marvel, for a wide variety of good reasons, this plant won the 1 st High Life Cup in Barcelona. The most interesting feature of this strain is without a doubt the intense aroma and taste that it produces; it smells like fruity skunk, but its smell is very strong which could pose a real problem particularly indoors where the use of carbon filters is a must until it is totally dry and packaged. It is important to emphasise that when smoked, even mixed with tobacco, the original taste comes through and it does not taste like burnt grass. It is really intense from start to finish and a real pleasure to smoke, leaving a great aftertaste.

Critical has become the most well-known and intensely cultivated variety of cannabis in Spain over the past two years. The cultivating revolution caused by the arrival of Skunk to the US, and later to the Netherlands, finally reached Spain 20 years later, but under another name: Critical. The reason is that the Skunk #1 genetics are dominant in this strain, which is also composed of an Indica variety of Afghani origin, a highly productive strain developed on the west coast of US, and which received the name of Big Bud. Mr Nice Seed Bank commerced with this hybrid, naming it Critical Mass. We could say that they became the "godfathers" of the most popular genetics in the whole country.

This Diesel is a quick growing Sativa/Indica hybrid that requires just a few weeks of vegetative growth before being forced into their flowering cycle; this however depends on your personal requirements.

You can expect the Diesel to gain about 100% in height during their 10 week flowering period. This strain is a potential high yielding strain, the large elongated buds from the Sativa side of this hybrid will, thanks to the Indica influences, grow more compact during the last few, important, weeks of the flowering cycle.

The cannabinoid profile of the Diesel leans more towards the Sativa side, uplifting and euphoric, with the slightest evidence of Indica related relaxation, a great companion to a night out.

The first genetics that adapted especially to the culture under artificial light, in the Seventies, it was a crossing between an East Indian Afghan of high production, and one Sativa Thai, and was in the city of Seattle, Washington. This new genetics, was developed and stabilised over the years, and I have created the first designed race of cannabis to produce the possible maximum. Northern Lights is one genetics that has had a tremendous global impact, because their crossings have been used by hundreds of thousands of cultivators all over the world. There are several reasons for this, more production and in less time than anyone of the seeds that were normally available. High production, low stature, power, and few leaves to clean, make this variety a good example of amount and quality.

The best known strain in our catalogue, it is also one of the strongest and very typical sativa.

It is the result of crossing the 2 best clones of our Mother Plants, a sativa with an indica. Moby Dick is our most psychoactive strain with a concentration of up to 21% THC and the presence of THCV, a substance present in equatorial sativas produced in response to the sun’s ultraviolet rays; this substance makes the effect of the THC stronger, to the point that the effect can be felt after just 2 or 3 puffs. The low CBO concentration helps to make the effect psychoactively intense and lasting; it speeds you up both physically and mentally and the come down is long, slightly physical and noticeable.

Harvesting is similar to its sister-plant, between the 10 – 25 October. It is moderately resistant to fungus caused by excess moisture in autumn. As it has a very powerful effect, this variety is not recommended for non-experimented consumers.
